Visitor Information

The Giles County Historical Society Museum Complex is located just 2 blocks from the Giles County Court House in historic downtown Pearisburg, Virginia.

Hours:

Wednesday - Friday, 12-5pm
Saturday - Sunday, 2-5pm

The genealogy Research Office is open Thursday from 12-5pm.

Admission is free. A donation is suggested.

We are closed during the months of January and February.

Directions:

From I-81 southbound/US 460 westbound: Exit 118C to US 460 West. Take the first Pearisburg exit about 25 miles from the last traffic light in Blacksburg. Left at the end of the exit ramp. Right at the Giles County Court House. After the next light, turn right into the driveway just after the brick house.

From I-81 northbound/VA 100 northbound: Exit 98 to VA 100 North. Go through the light at the Giles County Court House, about 20 miles from I-81. After the next light, turn right into the driveway just after the brick house.

From I-77/US 460 eastbound: Exit 9 to US 460 East. Take the first Pearisburg exit about 22 miles from I-77. Pass the Food Lion and Magic Mart plaza. Turn left into the driveway just before the brick house.
